13th Century Thatched Cottage – Pargetry Restoration & Heritage Decoration

Working on a 13th-century thatched cottage is always an honour, but this particular project was something truly special.

Beneath layers of later plaster and decoration, we uncovered original pargetry; decorative lime plasterwork that had survived for centuries. Discoveries like this are rare, and when they happen, they must be treated with respect and sensitivity.

Victorian Farmhouse – Exterior Restoration in Isfield, East Sussex

Dating from around around 1850–1880, this Victorian Farmhouse was in a tired state when we were first called to take a look. With rotten woodwork, rusted ironwork and cracked features, this project was just what we love!Much of the external woodwork had deteriorated, with rotten sections throughout the upper windows and gable ends requiring extensive splicing and replacement.

A Pair of Swiss Style Cottages in Rye

It’s well worth taking a look at the photographs in this project… We had the pleasure of painting this rare example of a 19th-Century Swiss Cottage style building with a touch of Carpenter Gothic influence.

Rye Castle Museum

Restoration of the museum frontage, including roof, sash windows and doors was undertaken during wildly varying weather conditions – testing our work to the max. Take a look for more images and a short video!

The Old Webb’s Bakery – Rye

A project brimming with character shows off the work that can be undertaken in a Listed Building. This project will continue into 2026 as approval is gained for more work.

Robertsbridge Heritage Railway Line

We were proud to be asked to play our part in the reconstruction of the old railway line between Bodiam & Robertsbridge. 
Project started June 2025 with the first day of painting the new Heritage train station at Robertsbridge in East Sussex. More updates to follow!

A wonderful project, decorating the interior and exterior of this 15th century cottage out in the heart of Kent. A beautiful house, lovely customer and a great job. Decorated with love, care and attention to detail.

Higham House, East Sussex

If there is ever a venue to show off our experience and quality with our decorating projects, this has to be it! A simply stunning venue where every colour, pattern, and corner was carefully thought out, and a total pleasure to work on. The history of this house stretches over 400 years and was ‘by repute’ one of the houses and gardens visited by Henry VIII .

Oast House Redecoration

From drying hops to a luxury bathroom, bedroom and nursery.
We just decorated the roundels in this beautiful converted Oast house.
The customer was very happy and even commented that we were the best tradesman they have had in the property!

Holiday Let in Camber Sands

We had a super quick turnaround on this popular holiday let based in Camber Sands. Due to its popularity, it’s very hard to get a window of opportunity to decorate or carry out necessary maintenance work.

We had three days to completely redecorate the whole house to our usual high standard – we even went through and cleaned up all paint and mess left by previous decorators. All on time, and on budget!
